William A. Knight, IV, MD to speak at Emergency Medicine Grand Rounds

William A. Knight, IV, MD will be giving grand rounds on Thursday Dec 7 at 3pm. Dr. Knight completed both his medical school and residency at the University of Cincinnati. Upon residency graduation, he completed a Neuro-Critical Care fellowship. He continues to practice Emergency Medicine but also provides clinical care in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit in addition his long-standing service in the Neuro-Critical Care ICU where he is the Associate Medical Director. 

William A. Knight, IV, MD

Dr. Knight is recognized internationally for his expertise in these clinical domains and has lectured at SMACC, ACEP, SAEM, SCCM and NCC among other prominent venues. Over his career, he has served as a clinical leader: he is the Medical Director of the UC-EM Advanced Practice Provider program and a team physician for the Cincinnati Bengals who co-directs their traumatic brain injury program.

He will join the Department of Emergency Medicine to present Grand Rounds on Wednesday, December 7th for two hours of didactics executed as a series of concise, high-yield, interactive lectures:

  • Traumatic Brain Injury : 10 things you need to know
  • Stroke Management in the ED
  • Neuroimaging for the non-neurologist
