UH Center for Emergency Medicine Faculty, Matthew Stull, MD Presents at International Medical Education Meeting

Matthew Stull, MD, Assistant Program Director for University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency Program represented the UH program in late August at one of the world's largest meetings of medical education, the Association of Medical Education of Europe (AMEE) in Helsinki, Finland. Matthew Stull, MD in Helsinki, Finland

Dr. Stull's presentations focused on building a career in medical education for trainees as well as discussing balancing trainee preference and societal needs for the healthcare workforce pipeline. His presentations include collaborators from around the world, including educators and researchers from the Netherlands, Estonia, and United Kingdom. "I am always eager to attend the AMEE meeting as it gives me the chance to work with inspiring educators from around the globe and bring home innovations that can enhance our program."

He also presented a poster on the development of a longitudinal multidisciplinary extramural medical education training program for clinical trainees and chaired a session on faculty development.

Dr. Stull was AMEE's 2015 Miriam Friedman Ben-David New Educator Award winner.
