About UH

UH 150 logo

Dear Friend,

Welcome to our University Hospitals community – a community of commitment that has flourished for 150 years. When it comes to health care, you have choices, and we’re honored that you chose UH. Our people are at your service – more than 30,000 physicians, nurses, employees and volunteers. Engage us. Ask us questions. Tell us your needs. UH at a Glance is at your service, too, as your introductory guide to the individuals and resources on your side.

UH has grown since 1866 from a charity hospital that started in a small Cleveland house to a super-regional health system with influence that spans the globe. Yet what matters most is the influence we have on you and your health and wellness. Thanks for counting on us to deliver the highest-quality care and the most personalized patient experience. And thank you for being part of the community that remains the focus of our mission: To Heal. To Teach. To Discover.

Thomas F. Zenty III
